And back home in Roanoke

We are enjoying cold weather and snow flurries! I'm hoping for a Christmas movie in front of a roaring fire during this holiday. We have brought out the Christmas tree and hope Katie & Tracy will help decorate between football and turkey time. Gussie is enjoying all the activity - boxes and shiny stuff to explore!
Work is slow, but is enough to make me feel like I can't stay home alllll day! (just some of it).

Happy Thanksgiving!

Our week at Nags Head has finally arrived! We didn't get to the beach during the summer so this trip is long overdue. We got here Sunday afternoon. I can't believe it's already Tuesday. Jeannie, Danny, Vicki, Livi, Lynn, Kelly, Mary Fowler and Davis are here now. Adam arrives tonight and Brian comes tomorrow. We have a lovely view of the Atlantic and I fell asleep last night listening to the surf. We have made cookies and put together 2 jigsaw puzzles so far. That probably sounds boring but I love it. I hope you all have a friendly place to go for Thanksgiving and have at least a few things to be thankful for! I love you and am always grateful for all of you in our wonderful family.
