I finally checked on some of the places mom suggested for Thanksgiving. We were trying to go somewhere a little closer if we weren't going to Nagshead (which I still don't know if dad wants to do that or something else at this point), but regardless, I'm checking.
The Homestead is totally booked that week. I am sure it would've been fairly expensive, but had to check because Adam and Livi always say how beautiful it is.

This is a link to rent homes in Myrtle Beach. There were a lot to choose from and prices seemed reasonable. Thought this way if anyone still wanted to have the beach around them, this would do it!
If anyone has any suggestions they would like me to look into, I'd be glad to do it. What does everyone want to do??

Kelly, thank you for beginning the long, hard road to creating a family gathering! At the moment I don't have a preference - I love the beach but a closer location sounds really good too. We'll all have to do some quick, deep thinking. Like you said, we NEED suggestions! Love, Mom
